Process
- •
prepare the data — transcribe fully, label each source anonymously
- •
read through everything holistically
- •
coding — tag each meaningful unit of information with a short code (e.g. "difficulty finding desired items," "filtering is hard," "app feels slow")
- •
find patterns and themes — cluster similar codes into larger themes; a mind map can help visualize relationships; ask whether anything is recurring, contradictory, or unique
- •
synthesize — integrate different viewpoints into new understanding; compare across sources (do they agree or disagree?), look for cause-and-effect between themes, build a narrative explaining the phenomenon as a whole

write conclusions — state the finding, the supporting evidence from the data, and its implication/meaning
